Here I am, back but no longer musing about primitive living in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. Instead, I’m in Boulder, Colorado, for a week, exploring and relaxing.
The big news with me is that I’ll be starting school again in September, a nine-month program at the New Mexico College of Natural Healing in Silver City, New Mexico, in their massage therapy program. It was kind of serendipitous and sudden — one minute Abigail and I are driving through South Dakota, the next we’ve veered far south almost to the Mexican border to check out a small town with less greenery than I’m used to and an obscure school of holistic healing arts. But the area and the program’s teachers felt good to me, so there we go.
Until it begins in September, Abigail and I are still travelling. We’ve put on quite a few miles in the past month.
